  • AbdelHakim Gamal AbdelNasser – Non-executive Chairman

     

    Hakim is actively involved in building a significant and profitable organisation business in addition he is an experienced Leader in working in diverse geographical areas and different cultures.

    Hakim is a seasoned executive with over forty five years of experience in the engineering industries covering all the business aspects.

    Hakim is the Founder and Managing Director of group of companies globally. Hakim is a Civil Engineer with more than 45 years’ experience in the industry. Hakim holds a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University in Egypt. He is an active member of different scientific societies.

    Hakim is past Chairman of the Orient for Construction and Real Estate Development SAE.

    Previously, He established and Managing Director of the Modern Contractors for investment and development Company. Also, he established an affiliate company of Modern construction for investment and development BVI, Benghazi, Libya.

    Additionally, he established, Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Modern Contractors for investment and development SAE.

    Moreover, he established and Managing Director of Arab Group for Construction ltd. in Sharjah, UAE.

  • Hesham Elmeligy

     

    Hesham is a seasoned executive with over thirty four years of experience Energy, oil and gas, Mining industries covering not only all the business aspect but also, commercial, negotiations, project management, operations, technical, legal, HR and finance gathered from several international energy companies. Hesham led teams of 50-3000 staff, including critically Health and Safety of all, but especially those in remote operations through personal visible presence

    Hesham is actively involved in building a significant and profitable upstream business with a balanced portfolio of assets and an international footprint spanning different countries. Hesham is an experienced Leader in working in diverse geographical areas and different cultures. Currently, he is the CEO of Seagull Petroleum and Mining and earlier he was CEO of Red Sea Petroleum Limited an England and Wales company. In addition, he served as Vice President, Exploration and Production Manager and Operation Manager at different companies like Statoil in Norway, Apache Corporation in USA and its two joint venture companies Khalda and Qarun Petroleum in Egypt, Dragon Oil in UAE, Star Oil in Sudan and Somaliland. Additionally, he worked as Contractor in the Seismic and Non-Seismic field including mining activities for all commodities

    Hesham was actively involved in building a significant and profitable upstream business with a balanced portfolio of assets and an international footprint spanning different countries. Hesham currently serves on the Board of Directors of two telecommunication companies and one mining and petroleum Service Company. He is an active member of SPE, SEG, AAPG, EAGE & EGS societies. He earned his bachelor’s degree in geology, a master’s in Geophysics and a PhD in Geophysics from Ain Shams University.

    Piers is a Managing Director of OPC, Piers is a petroleum engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the industry. Piers holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University, and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers

    Piers Johnson is a Managing Director of OPC, Piers is a petroleum engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the industry. Piers holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University, and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is past Chairman of the London Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a Member of the petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain and a member of the Institute of Energy. He is the founder of Oilfield Production Consultants (OPC) Limited having previously worked for Flopetrol Johnston Schlumberger as Well Test Supervisor, Location manager and District Sales Engineer (Asia). He has experience of oil and gas operations, field evaluations and well test interpretation worldwide and he is a Visiting Lecturer in Petroleum Engineering at the Institut Français du Pétrole in Paris

  • Dr. Brian Smart

     

    Professor Brian has worked in the mining industry and at University College Cardiff, the University of Strathclyde and Heriot-Watt University. He was the Head of the world-leading Institute of Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University for seven years, becoming a Vice Principal with responsibility for the championing and running of Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus. He developed a university internationalization strategy for Heriot-Watt that was built on the creation of in-country presence and delivered key international partnerships and initiatives. Professor Brian is the founder and CEO of Malta-based IRMC (the International Risk Management Company) where they provide the following services National Energy Strategies, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, Wells , Immersive simulator training - wells and major incidents, Cross-discipline offshore EHS management, Safety culture development, Safety training and coaching Human Factors training, Emergency Response Training, Integrated petroleum asset management, Decommissioning of oil and gas operations, Marine environment management, Shipping logistics and management, Naval architecture, Marine and subsea engineering, Energy transition to renewables, maintaining sustainability, Geothermal Energy, Energy storage (Hydrogen), Carbon Capture and Storage, Generic and industry-specific strategy and business development, Project management, Investment and finance management.

He contributed to the development of a strategy for the establishment of an Institute of Petroleum Engineering in Uganda, and after leaving Heriot - Watt was the founding Rector at the International University of East Africa, and Global College Malta. He was among the very first to address petroleum engineering reservoir-scale rock mechanics. He invented the first rock testing cell capable of applying true triaxial stresses to rock core plugs. He was the rock mechanics technical expert at the Bilsthorpe Colliery Disaster Public Inquiry in 1993, and the City of Edinburgh’s Gilmerton Hill Subsidence Public Inquiry in 2001

    His first exposure to technology-related risk management was in the field of mining rock mechanics, researching and helping implement innovative evidence-based approaches to the provision of safe tunnel and coalface rock support systems. With his former colleagues in the Rock Mechanics Research Group (Initially at the University of Strathclyde where he was promoted to Professor, and then at Heriot-Watt University). He holds Fellowships from the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and is a Chartered Engineer. Retaining an Honorary Professorship from Tomsk Polytechnic University Russia, he is working in "the delivery of understanding" to industries, out of Scotland & Malta

  • Wilson S. Robb

     

    Wilson is the founder and Manager Director of a Mining Service company, Aurum Exploration Limited in May 2002 providing contract exploration, target generation and exploration management services to international Mining clients in addition to Development and production for all commodities. Managing Director for London-listed explorer Alba Mineral Resources PLC, between April 2005 and April 2007; Served as a non-Executive Director of Alba Mineral Resources PLC. Executive Chairman and a Principal Geologist of Aurum (Apr ’07 - date). Delivered corporate results in areas of business development & marketing; and technical results and/or expertise for a wide variety of mining projects and clients. Experts at Project management, ground selection, target generation, exploration portfolio development, exploration planning and budgeting as well as financing and promotion for multiple clients. Liaising with clients, contractors, Government Authorities & Departments, enterprise authorities and other stakeholders. Submission of exploration & expenditure reports to Government Authorities & Departments such as Exploration and Mining Division, Dept. of Energy, Marine & Natural Resources. Investors, internal management committees, joint venture partners, senior managers in governmental administrative bodies.

    During 2009 to date, accomplished multiple market research projects on Canada, Australia and Middle East; the planning and execution of marketing roadshows and trade show visits; global tendering; e-marketing strategy; corporate rebranding; and Canadian subsidiary establishment. Successfully identifying contract opportunities/funding and securing contracts in Ireland, Middle East and Africa. Led proactive marketing and business development initiatives. Led all business development initiatives during the severe ‘12/’17 resources sector recession successfully securing project generation investments of €400K and €500K for Irish-type MVT and sedimentary copper in Ireland, UK and Spain securing >€900K in income via contracts with Adventus Zinc Corp. & Adventus Exploration - FQM. During a severe nine-month market shock ‘18/’19, assumed the role of CEO; supervising management, HR and legal advisors, executing senior management changes, monitoring financial control, conducting marketing, business development and project generation initiatives - successfully guiding the company to stability, implementing a new business strategy and Board structure, whilst securing project income in Ireland, Scotland and Spain valued at circa €500K.

    Wilson is graduated from University of Glasgow & Strathclyde B.Sc. (Honors) in Geology & Applied Geology.

    Ehab is the founder and Managing Director of PRGRAMED in Stockholm, where they provide all the smart and IT Technologies project globally. Ehab is with many years of experience in the industry of IT technologies field, software development, Software architecture, Software design. Ehab holds Bachelor of Science, Programming and Networks, University of Oslo in addition to Computer Science and Engineering from German University in Cairo. Ehab is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), Robotica Osloensis (Robotics group at the University of Oslo involved with robotic engineering and nanotechnology)is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

    He is the founder of PRGRAMED in Stockholm having previously worked for VIZRT Stockholm, BIDIRECTION Stockholm, HIQ Stockholm and DFIND IT Stockholm, Ehab currently serves on the Board of Directors of two telecommunication companies and one Automotive Company.
